Custom Hand Forged Bare Blades

EarthSky People (ESP) bare blades are each a labor of love, hand forged by ESP Co-founder Nhan-Esteban Khuong.

Each blade is hand forged to rough shape fine tuned with files and abrasives then, hardened, tempered, hand rubbed to a satin finish, then sharpened and honed to a razor’s edge.  This process produces a unique “Brut de Forge” character that is impossible to create with modern stock removal methods.

Do ESP bare blades have a warranty?
Yes.  All of Nhan’s hand forged blades are guaranteed, as long as he is making knives, given proper care and maintenance and used within their intended capacity.
